In addition, this service includes newswire distribution via PR Newswire, the recognized leader in newswire services. Your release will be available to tens of thousands of media personnel, including book reviewers, and organizations that belong to PR Newswire.

Your release will also be available to 4,000 Web sites, online databases, and online services. Most importantly your press release will appear on Google News (via Google's spidering of other news sites) as well as on Yahoo! News.

Also, after your release is distributed we will send you a report that will confirm the distribution of your release and give you a few links where your release can be found online! Your release will be sent to tens of thousands of recipients!

Basic and Advanced Press Release Plan

When done right, a press release is an effective way to get publicity. At NXTGen, a professional copywriter will prepare a news release in a format to pique editors' interest in your book. We follow this up by creating a list of 100 targeted media outlets based on your book's topic and the geographical locations you choose.

Our comprehensive media database includes newspapers, radio stations, and television stations. Your release is then distributed to the media while a copy of the list of recipients is sent to you for your records. Finally, when editors or reporters request review copies, we will provide them free of charge and notify you of the request.

Paid Book Reviews

NXTGen has teamed up with Kirkus Discoveries, a paid review service from the editors of Kirkus Reviews, to streamline the review process for our authors. Our Kirkus Discoveries Book Review service gives you the opportunity to have your title reviewed by one of the most prominent and respected book review publications in the publishing industry.
Kirkus Discoveries posts these reviews to the Discoveries Web site. The reviews are also eligible for inclusion in the Kirkus Discoveries monthly eNewsletter, which highlights the best submissions to the program at no extra cost. The eNewsletter goes to a targeted base of subscribers, including agents, editors and librarians.
A professional reviewer will read and provide an honest review of your book (nonfiction books are reviewed by experienced reviewers who specialize in certain fields; novels and short-story collections are reviewed by experienced fiction reviewers; and children’s and young-adult books are reviewed by children’s librarians and others who are well-versed in children’s literature).

You will be able to use your full review in your promotional materials and on your Web site. The review does not have to appear in its entirety; you may use excerpts.
NXTGen will make sure Kirkus Discoveries receives your book to review. When your review is finished, the review is forwarded via email to the author from NXTGen.
